The County will be discussing the purchase of the former golf course on Feb 10th. By buying the property, the County can preserve the property as open space, address infrastructure issues, and improve the quality of life in our community.
This land can be critically important for water retention, drainage, and long-term flood protection. If we don’t act now, the property is slated to be developed as more homes very soon.
Please take a moment to email the County Commissioners before the hearing on February 10th.
